This picture was obviously staged but I wanted to capture a piece of how loving d1 and d2 have been to their unborn baby brother. They constantly ask when he's coming and how big he will be and if they can hold him. d1 says he's going to teach d3 how to play basketball (of course!) and d2 is also going to show him how to play basketball (because we copy everything d1 says) as well as how to do puzzles. They are very excited - I hope the excitement continues when they realize how much time and attention the baby will require. I also wanted a couple of pictures of my prego body because I don't have many from the other two pregnancies - and, believe me, it's not so that I can look at the pictures and revel in my 'glow' because that is DEFINITELY not how I feel but more of a reminder of what exactly pregnancy does to your body (swelling, pastiness, achiness, major OUTIE - just to name a few....).
I also want to mention how BLESSED and THANKFUL we are to have been given so many things for this 'surprise' baby. Just a few months before we got the big news, we had sold off many of our baby items and so when we found out, we literally thought we were going to have to start from scratch. So many have offered up their equipment as a loan and it has been AWESOME! We have received a complete travel system with extra base, Diaper Champ, monitors, bassinet, play mat, breast pump, maternity clothes and a TON of baby boy clothes from numerous friends. Oh, and my good friend B just gave me d3's first 'personalized' gift - Orbit labels for his bottles/sippy cups. Such a cool present!! Thanks to all the generosity we have been shown, we really just had to buy the baby furniture (which we got a steal from CL!) and some other randoms. We just cannot thank you enough!! The nursery is finally complete (less a few shelves and maybe a lamp) but whenever he is ready to come, there is a room waiting for him.
Oh, and one last thing - although we have gone back and forth on this, it is finally decided! His name shall be - Dayne Josiah. What do you think??

The name has a good ring to it. I may have to do the picture thing with Jackson.. I'm impressed with the lighting and everything. I might have grown out of my white tank top already but hey, it's ok right now to be a little fat in our clothes:)
